Design for Learning

Core reading:  Boettcher, L.  Design for Learning.  Downloaded from http://designingforlearning.info/writing/ten-best-practices-for-teaching-online/

The WHY:  The author is a veteran on online teaching and brings 20 years of experience to her ten “best” list.  This module 1 highlights seven effective practices, Boettcher’s perspective aligns with and supplements those practices.  The reading was selected to show there is alignment as well as disagreement about effective, or best, practices for online teaching.  Participants are invited to formulate their own ideas about what are and are not effective/best practices in the courses they teach.
